After 23 early morning meetings in the last 7 months, 10 teams and 7 coaches from Cascade Ridge Math Club will be heading to Seattle University this Saturday May 4th to compete at the annual Math Olympiad sponsored by Washington State Mathematics Council.

Two of the 5th grade teams have already participated at the Washington State Math Championships in Blaine last Saturday April 27th. One of our teams placed 38th, and the other placed 42nd, out of a total of 98 teams from fifth grade in Washington State. We’re super proud of them, not only for their results, but also their attitude, sportsmanship, and teamwork! This team includes: Susheel Cheeti, Bella Cooper, Kiyan Dhanidina, Anjali Goel, Arwa Iqbal, Sean Mirahsani, Siddarth Sama, Zachary Zener.

They will join the following 50 Math Club students this Saturday:
