We are thrilled to announce we are hosting our third annual Trunk or Treat Event, taking place Saturday, October 26th from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Cascade Ridge Parking Lot.

WHAT EXACTLY IS TRUNK OR TREAT?

Trunk or Treat is a fun way to bring Cascade Ridge families together as a community to celebrate Halloween. During the event, families park in the Cascade Ridge Parking Lot and decorate their trunks, Children “trick or treat” by going from car trunk to car trunk collecting candy and other non-candy treats.

All Cascade Ridge students & their families are welcome to “trunk or treat!” Costumes are encouraged, but not required. This is a family event. All CRE students must be accompanied by an adult during the event. Younger siblings are welcome to trick or treat. Please bring your own bags/buckets for treat collection as they will not be provided.

I’D LOVE TO DECORATE MY TRUNK! WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Yay! You can participate by signing up to decorate a trunk & hand out candy here: Sign up for a Trunk

Families/Adults that elect to decorate a trunk and hand out treats must stay on-site for the duration of the event for the safety of our children and families. You will be given a load in time one hour prior to the event start to decorate your trunk and clean up will commence promptly at 6:30pm, with load out happening shortly thereafter. Candy and non candy treats will be provided by the PTSA and handed out before our trunk-or-treaters walk around. You are welcome to supplement candy if you wish!

TRUNK DECORATION GUIDELINES

The easiest way to to come up with an idea for your trunk is to think of a cohesive theme!

Think of it like dressing your trunk in a costume :).  You can go all out or keep it simple. There will be a trophy given out for “Best Trunk,” as voted on by event attendees. Pinterest is a great resource for ideas.

There will be young children in attendance for this event, so please bear that in mind. Please nothing overly spooky or gory.

You are welcome to play appropriate music, but there will be no access to electricity available.

Yes! Please stay tuned for food truck announcements, and prepare to bring cash/card to purchase food & drinks.

COSTUME GUIDELINES

Please keep in mind that this is an all-ages event, so please make sure your costume is not too scary, gory or inappropriate for our youngest attendees.

HOW WILL THE EVENT RUN?
