Welcome to Cascade Ridge Elementary’s Pause for a Cause: A Celebration of Service! Join us on December 8th for an evening of warmth, community, and giving back.
This winter event is designed to bring families and students together in the spirit of service.
Event Highlights
โ๏ธ Winter Wonderland of Service Projects โ๏ธ
Dive into the season of giving with a variety of service projects suitable for all ages.
This year, we are participating in the following activities:
๐งค Fill the Fire Truck: Bring pantry staples and new unwrapped toys to the event for donation to those in need.
๐งคSnowflakes for Seniors: Decorate a snowflake for seniors in our community! After the event, these special bits of cheer will be delivered to local senior homes to brighten their spaces.
๐งคPaws & Claws: Winter can be hard on so many of our furriest friends! Help us make some fun kitty catnip toys to benefit the local chapter of The Humane Society.
๐งคCardz for Kidz: Last year, this national organization donated nearly 160,000 cards to hospitals, senior homes, foster care agencies, patient homes and directly to those impacted by trauma or disasters. Our students will be making cards and bookmarks to share joyful wishes to those in need of encouragement and support! Cardz 4 kidz has expressed a need for non english cards. We hope you bring your crafty talent and come design a card or two.
๐งคColor a Smile: This non-profit organization distributes thousands of completed coloring pages to senior centers, military members or anyone else in need of a smile! Students will be using their artistic talents to color pages that will be sent to Color a Smile and distributed to those in need of some joy!

Connect with local organizations and discover ongoing service opportunities in our community. Representatives will be on hand to share information, answer questions, and help you find the perfect way to give back.

Join in the frosty fun with our Winter Themed Activities Zone! Engage in friendly snowball fights, try your hand at winter-themed games, and create lasting memories with your loved ones.

Experience the magic of the season with our winter wonderland decor. Don't forget to bring your holiday spirit and perhaps a camera to capture the joyful moments!
๐ช Cozy Treats and Warm Drinks ๐ช
Indulge in seasonal treats and warm beverages provided by local food truck vendors. It's the perfect way to refuel and relax during this heartwarming event.
