The Challenge
The Cascade Ridge PTSA is hosting a week long step challenge to keep our bodies active, and see how many steps we can collect as a community. What a great way to stay healthy, and have some fun outdoors!
You can pick up your pedometer September 30th-October 2nd in front of Cascade ridge. There is a box near the front door. This will be self- serve, so come when you are able.  Please remember to take one per student as there are only enough for Cascade Ridge students.
Use this pedometer to help record your step total for the week, and email your final count to so we can see how many steps we have taken as a school!
You can report either the steps you have taken or the distance you have walked.
Measure your steps with a pedometer, and then record them using the Coyote Challenge Step Tracking Sheet.
Read this document to see answers to Frequently Asked Questions about the challenge.

The Challenge takes place the week of October 5th-9th. The best part about this challenge is that you can get outside and move whenever you have time.

Walk your dog in the morning, get some steps in with a family member after lunch, roll to the park in the evening!

Be sure to get outside and walk to the Cascade Ridge neighborhood parks! See if you can find the Cascade Ridge Coyote.

Download a neighborhood map to find the Coyotes!

Be sure to take pics and upload them to the Coyote Challenge FlipGrid use code coyotechallenge to join. Or send your pictures to

Walk, run, scoot, or roll! We can't wait to cheer you on.
