In place since last year to serve food-insecure students in the Issaquah School District, Lunch for the Break is a program that teams up with the Issaquah Food Bank to ensure that no child in the district will ever go hungry when school is not in session.

Food collection from our school communities was a huge success last year, but this year more distribution help is needed.

Serving the Clark, Issaquah Valley, Apollo, Maple Hills, Sunset and Briarwood Elementary schools, families can register for this program in early November. Food items will be collected during this month as well, then distributed before December break. Contact the Issaquah Food Bank for drop-off locations and for more information on how you can help!
