Fall After School Enrichment Programs

The PTSA is happy to connect you with some after school enrichment classes. These classes are supplied and run by vendors for a fee. Check out the links below for more information and to register directly with the vendors. Space is limited and registration is on-going so don’t delay! Register before September 30^th for a 2016-17 class

TechVenture Kids - Online Registration at techventurekids.org

In TechVenture Kids’ Scratch Code Club, kids explore how to design and program their own computer games and animations. Working in MIT's SCRATCH, a visual drag ‘n drop programming environment, students engage in fun coding projects while learning the basics of computer programming. Instruction and projects are provided for all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced!For more information about TechVenture Kids click here.

Spanish Classes- Cascade Ridge Elementary is offering Spanish classes from October 2016 to Spring 2017 through Foreign Language for Youth (FLY). Classes meet at Cascade Ridge. Yoga for kids-- Kid Fit East’s Yoga program teaches yoga to build inner and outer strength and flexibility through age-appropriate, physically challenging yoga postures and flowing sequences. Click here to view the flyer.

Minecraft MODs-- In TechVenture Kids’ LEARN TO MOD Code Club, your kids explore how to change their Minecraft world, how to mod it! Students choose to code with visual building blocks or Javascript & learn through a series of tutorials, puzzles and group discussions! For more information click here.
