YOGA – Mondays (3rd – 5th grade) Yoga can help improve concentration and focus, strength, and coordination. By being creative, we will relate the story or character to the symbol of a physical posture. Students soon become creative with their images and create their own stories that they attach to postures. We have music and we have fun. There are times we slow down and listen to our breath and just learn to relax, a valuable life skill. Ms Welke and her team have enjoyed many years of practicing yoga and teaching children the skills at their pace in a safe and supportive environment.
