Thank you Cascade Ridge! The Caring Through Sharing Program was a huge success.  Thank you to all who donated! We were able to bring several car loads of great stuff to the Holiday Gift Barn. A special thank you to all of the Caring Through Sharing Reps for talking to your classrooms and making collection boxes. Thank you to the Room Coordinators for getting the information out to the parents. And to the volunteers who helped collect all of the gifts and drive them to the Holiday Gift Barn. Holiday Gift Barn Thank You
To all our Holiday Gift Barn Volunteers and Donors - Thank you so much for your generosity! With your support we were able to support 650 families and get brand new toys, clothing, stocking-stuffers, socks, underwear, scarves, gloves, hats, games and books to 1,300+ children. We appreciate your generous gifts and time. Together the Issaquah and Sammamish communities created a gracious space for families to shop in a holiday-spirited and dignified environment.  I'm confident there are going to be lot more happy children Christmas morning because of all your goodness. THANK YOU Cascade Ridge families for your generous support of the Book Fair!  Together, we raised $2,500 and added over 200 new titles to classroom bookshelves.  We also earned a Scholastic credit to use toward book prizes for next year's Eager Reader program. Special thanks to all the wonderful volunteers who made it happen! We truly appreciate all the hours spent on decorations, set up, running the cash registers, helping students, and clean up!!! Another year of Eager Reader is in the books! Congratulations to all of our Eager Readers and thank you to all of our students and families for their support. Over 550,000 minutes of reading were logged over the month of the program. REFLECTIONS 2014 - 2015 "The World Would Be A Better Place If..." The Reflections Program is a National PTA and WSPTA cultural arts competition. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for students to use their creative talents by expressing themselves through their own original works. Coyote artists can get involved in Reflections through the Cascade Ridge PTSA.  A student may submit an entry in any of six art categories: Literature, Choreography/Dance, Photography, Visual Arts, Film/Video, and Music Composition. Our Wiki Wiki Walkathon was a fantastic success, and it wouldn’t have been so without all the hard work of our AMAZING team who brought an entirely new theme and ideas to fruition, all within the first month of the school year. A new school year = a new Safety Patrol Team. Mrs. Paula was thrilled to be able to have a team of 13 amazing 5th graders as her Safety Patrol Trainers. These dedicated 5th graders started off the first 2 weeks of school year by working on the Safety Patrol team. The following week our dedicated team of 13 started the process of training the newly recruited 37 team members.
