Students and Volunteers made 2014 Spelling Bee a Wonderful Success! The first week of February was a whirlwind of excitement as over 180 Cascade Ridge students took center stage and brilliantly spelled words like duplicity and vivacious. Beaver Lake Middle School will host a 5th Grade student visitation on March 18, 2013 from 9:30 - 11:00am. Registration is now open for students to join the spelling fun at the 4th Annual Cascade Ridge Spelling Bee. All grades are welcome to join in this friendly competition of oral spelling ability! Participants will take the stage one at a time and will be asked to spell a word out loud. Students will repeat the word, spell it and repeat the word again. Each correctly spelled word earns a trip to the next round. The bee ends when there is just one speller standing! All volunteers at Cascade Ridge must complete the Washington State Patrol Forms each year.  This includes volunteers in the classroom, at PTSA events, parents who attend Parent Play Day and anyone who is not just “visiting” the school (i.e. attending a one-time assembly, etc.). Our kids and Cascade Ridge need YOUR help!  We have a variety of volunteer positions open for this fall that are critical to our school and the success of our kids.   The following committees need chairpersons ASAP: Spelling Bee Co/Chair Talent Show Co/Chair Box Top Co/Chair Passive Fundraising - Wreath/Poinsettia Drive Staff Appreciation Shadow (lead for next year) Chair a committee or grab a friend and co-chair.
